The Seattle Women’s Commission invites the Seattle community to attend the upcoming panel discussion, Affordable Childcare in Seattle, on Thursday, September 22 from 5 – 6:30pm. This hybrid event will bring together a variety of stakeholders to have a wide-ranging discussion on the state of affordable childcare access in Seattle.
We look forward to hearing from the following panelists:
- Rachel Sanchez: Program & Community Outreach Manager at Goodwin Connections
- Michelle Lane: Seattle parent who has navigated the childcare landscape in Seattle
- Kimberly Sopher-Dunn: Director of Education and Community Capacity Building at New Birth Center for Community Inclusion
- M. Suzette Espinoza-Cruz: Childcare education specialist at the City of Seattle’s Department of Education and Early Learning
Please join the commission for this free, informational event! The in-person component will take place at the Bertha Knight Landes Room at Seattle City Hall, and the virtual component will take place on WebEx. Childcare provided for those who submit requests by September 19, no other registration required.
